Impact:
Some users experienced inconsistent and slower response times for requests during this two-minute window.

Relation to prior incident:
This degradation was related to the September 24 outage, with a further bottleneck detected between our realtime services.

Resolution:
The bottleneck has been mitigated and normal response times have been restored.

Ongoing impact:
While core services are stable, real-time in-app notifications remain temporarily offline while our team investigates the root cause and implements a permanent solution.

Next steps / prevention:
• Conducting a deeper analysis of realtime service interactions
• Rolling out infrastructure changes to prevent bottlenecks
• Restoring real-time notifications once a reliable fix is in place
