Timeframe: September 16, 4:06 pm – 4:38 pm (local time)

Impact: Users experienced intermittent service problems over a 32-minute period, which became progressively more frequent toward the end of the incident.

Cause: During a deployment, newly released software was found to be incompatible with a core system that forms part of our legacy infrastructure, which is currently being deprecated.

Resolution: The issue was quickly identified and patched, restoring normal service operation.

Next steps / prevention: Our engineering team is reviewing this event to determine how similar incompatibilities can be prevented in future deployments
